Single row deep groove ball bearings are available in various styles. From seals and shields, to industrial and premium grades. Single row deep groove (SRDG) ball bearings are most commonly used in high-speed applications where long life and critical performance are required, even slight axial misalignment can be tolerated. Single row deep groove (SRDG) radial ball bearings feature precision ground raceways in both the inner and outer rings.

Inch single row deep groove radial ball bearings are an add-on to AUB's inch bore single row deep groove (SRDG) ball bearings. They are similar to our R series inch single row deep groove radial ball bearings, but have different combinations of inch size inside diameter (ID) and outside diameter (OD) dimensions. Prior to assembly, these components are heat treated and hardened to produce a durable wear surface on the ball and ball track. Retainers and guards are made of cold rolled steel.
Much like AUB's R series, these inch size single row deep groove radial ball bearings provide the precision performance required for applications in power transmission, lawn and garden, landscaping and mobile equipment. Due to a wide range of applications, including high precision, electric motor applications, AUB's inch size single row deep groove radial ball bearings are available in standard or industrial grade designs, produced to ABEC 1 classification, and feature double lip non- Applied contact seal (2RS) or metal shield (ZZ). Like our other premium single row deep groove (SRDG) ball bearings, this series is lubricated with Chevron SRI#2 grease and is considered lubricated for life. Of note, Chevron SRI#2 Grease is a high temperature ball and roller bearing grease recommended for bearings operating at high RPM.
Double-row deep groove ball bearings correspond structurally to a pair of single-row deep groove ball bearings, but have two raceway grooves, and each raceway groove has a row of balls. Due to the higher number of rolling elements, they can withstand higher loads than single row deep groove ball bearings. Double row bearings are used in occasions where the load capacity of single row deep groove ball bearings is insufficient. Since the bearings can also accommodate loads caused by tilting, they are suitable for particularly short shafts supported by only one bearing.

In addition, special dimension single row deep groove (SRDG) ball bearings are available in various sizes. When the correct configuration is chosen, single row deep groove (SRDG) ball bearings are very effective in a wide variety of applications and operating conditions. Manufactured according to ISO9001 and TS-16949 standards, AUB uses vacuum degassed 52100 bearing steel or 440C Stainless Steel. Manufactures inner rings, outer rings and balls.
