Miniature Thrust Bearings

AUB is a professional manufacturer of miniature thrust ball bearings. The optional inner diameter ranges from 2mm to 10mm. According to the different raceways, it is divided into two series, namely raceways with grooves and raceways without grooves. These thrust bearings have flat washers of the same size and are designed for low speed applications. In addition, the load carrying capacity of miniature thrust bearings without grooves is much lower than that of thrust bearings with grooved washers.

Compared with ordinary radial ball bearings, miniature thrust ball bearings cannot bear too much radial load like radial ball bearings. Miniature thrust ball bearings are specially designed to bear axial or lateral loads, and do not bear radial loads. Generally, miniature thrust ball bearings and stainless steel thrust bearings are widely used in crane hooks, vertical water pumps, vertical centrifuges, jacks, low-speed reducers and other occasions that only require axial load on one side and low speed.

Chromium steel thrust bearings with brass retainers and suitable lubricants can be used at a constant temperature of 120°C or at intermittent temperatures up to 150°C. Above these temperatures, the load-carrying capacity of chrome steels decreases. These thrust bearings are not suitable for use in corrosive environments as the chrome steel washers and balls are not corrosion resistant. Chromium steel thrust bearings are coated with anti-corrosion oil to protect against moisture. Thanks to our in-house relubrication facility, our thrust bearings can be supplied with customer specified oil, grease or dry lubricant.

Note that maximum load and speed are used for theoretical life calculations. It is recommended that bearings be used well below their maximum rated load and speed to ensure reasonable bearing life. AUB accepts customized miniature thrust ball bearings and controls them strictly according to ISO9001:2015.
