Design of Hybrid Angular Contact Bearings

Hybrid Angular contact bearings consist of three main components: rings, cages, and ball materials.

Bearing Rings (also known as bearing raceways) Our bearing rings are made of 52100 vacuum-degassed chrome steel (100Cr6), with a high-temperature stability up to 302°F (150°C). They can undergo additional heat treatment for operating temperatures up to 572°F (300°C). For temperatures exceeding 572°F (300°C), we use high-temperature tool steel to manufacture the rings.

Bearing Balls are silicon nitride.

Laagri puurid Made of PEEK, which is lighter than TA cage materials. Ideal for grease lubrication, while TA cages are best suited for oil lubrication.

Single row bearings feature single rows of balls and are suitable for applications with relatively light axial loads. Lower friction and the ability to operate at higher speeds make single row angular contact ball bearings the ideal choice for applications requiring high precision and efficiency. This unique design allows them to handle radial and axial loads in any direction. Four-point contact bearings ensure smooth operation even under high-speed and high-load conditions.

Prevention of skidding: If the preload force between rings is too low, balls can skid on the raceway. This typically occurs with insufficient bearing preload or excessive acceleration. Using hybrid bearings allows for lower minimum preload values due to their lower inertia and smaller resulting torque.
